Bukidnon is a popular name that houses the country's sweetest and finest pineapple. A major producer of corn, rice, and pineapple, Bukidnon is considered one of Mindanao's food capital. It is also home to several other plantations engaging in pineapple, banana, and other tropical fruits to name a few.
Del Monte Corporation, an American food production and distribution company has a pineapple plantation locally manage by Del Monte Philippines Inc. It is one of the largest pineapple plantations in the world and by far - the biggest in Asia. A vast area covering around 9000 hectares of land, it's entirety is almost planted with pineapples as far as the eyes can see - until reaching the very edge of the horizon.

This is another treasure the Philippines has to offer especially the province of Bukidnon.
