Pamalican Island

Palawan never runs out of beautiful natural attractions that represent the country in global competitions. Apart from the amazing rock formations of the Puerto Princesa Underground River and the breathtaking beaches of El Nido Islands, another northern Palawan island specifically located in the Cuyo Group of Islands lies a pristine paradise that goes by the name Pamalican.

Pamalican is home to one of the famous high-end resorts in the world, the Amanpulo Island Resort. Unlike Boracay, this paradise is not yet crowded as it was a private island turned resort. Getting there requires a plane from Manila which would roughly take an hour. It is surrounded with crystal clear water topped with a 7 square-kilometer coral reef. Reviews at the tripadvisor site were all but positive. Expensive? Yes, it is. But you will forget the cost once you set foot in the island and will leave you visiting them over and over again.
