The Island Born of Fire - Camiguin

Home to seven volcanoes including the famous and still active Mount Hibuk- Hibuk, Camiguin is a volcanic island province in the northern tip of Mindanao . It is the region's smallest island and second smallest after Batanes if talking about all the provinces in the country as a whole. This pear-shaped island is also home to the country's beautiful beaches topped with crystal clear waters that invites everyone to plunge upon arrival.
A place gifted with nature's bountiful blessings, truly, Camiguin is a paradise island like no other. It gives a feeling of gratification upon arrival, and a sense of satisfaction upon leaving the town.

  2. I am amazed how clean the water is. I haven't been to Camiguin. I am adding that in my list. I think I can compare the beauty of this place from your pics to Caramoan. There are still many undiscovered paradise in the Philippines. I hope even if they get discovered, they remain as pristine as they are now.

  5. Camiguin is a gem to Northern Mindanao.. The entire island itself is a tourist destination waiting to be discovered.. The most famous it can offer is probably the Sunken Cemetery, the Sandbar and the Katibawasan falls.

  13. The place is clean. The place is calm. The place is like a "paradise" caped with clear waters and white sands. I love to "play" in this place if time and occasion so warrants someday.

  21. I've been there before when I was like 14. Amazing place to go to. The island itself is very small, but there are so many places to go to. There are several hot springs and if I remember right there are waterfalls in the island. It's a great experience to go there. You have great pictures too.
