Located in Coron, a municipality in the north of Palawan, Kayangan Lake is getting positive reviews as the cleanest lake in the Philippines by leading travel sites like tripadvisor and travelpod. A friend also mentioned that it might as well be the cleanest in Southeast Asia based on the article he read online. Unfortunately, he can't remember the site. Anyhow, this lake has been featured in Time Magazine making the influx of both local and international travelers to grow.
With the gigantic limestone cliffs surrounded by clear bluish and greenish water, people who have witnessed the beauty of the lake dubbed it as an awe-inspiring creation and a real paradise on earth. Looking at the pictures - I couldn't agree more. And with advent of low-cost carriers like cebu pacific, this should be our next travel stop!
