In the town of Valencia in Negros Oriental lies a falls like no other. From a far, its reddish color resembles a stream of blood that flows. Question: Would you dare swim in a water like that?
Known to locals as Pulang Bato, which literally translates to Red Rock, Pulang Bato Falls doesn't really have a reddish water. The presence of natural reddish rocks in the area caused the water to look like red. And as soon as you take a sample of water out from the river, it changes its color quickly. Just like the sky reflecting its blue color to the sea - so as the rocks in the area to the river flowing. And to answer my question if i would dare swim...I definitely would.
